Promote The Truth Releases the Truth Scriptures Ta'anak (OT) and Bariyt Hadash (NT) After Three Decades of Scriptural Translation Work
Promote the Truth, a PTT Research Group division, has published two major English translations of Scripture through its Truth Scriptures Project, the Ta'anak (known as the Old Testament) and the Bariyt Hadash (known as the New Testament) following more than 30 years of dedicated research. The publications restore original Hebrew names, including the Name of the Creator, YAHUAH, drawing upon ancient manuscript traditions such as the Dead Sea Scrolls and Peshitta Aramaic texts.

The Ta'anak and the Bariyt Hadash are now accessible to readers worldwide, both individually and as a Combo Pack, through the project's official storefront at TruthScriptures.Store.
The Truth Scriptures Project, founded through Promote The Truth, has operated with a singular focus on restoring elements that many conventional translations have altered or omitted over the centuries. Central to both publications is the restoration of YAHUAH as the Name of the Creator, along with numerous other ancient Hebrew names that appear throughout the original manuscripts. According to PTT Research Group, this approach distinguishes the translations from many widely circulated editions that substitute titles or anglicized forms in place of these names. The project has removed the many distortions and errors found in nearly every other translation available in English and many other languages.
The translation methodology behind both the Truth Scriptures Ta'anak and the Bariyt Hadash draws upon several ancient manuscript traditions. Among the primary sources consulted are the Dead Sea Scrolls, a collection of texts discovered in the mid-twentieth century that predate many commonly referenced manuscript families. Additionally, the project incorporated readings from the Peshitta Aramaic texts, which represent one of the oldest continuous Scripture traditions in existence. By cross-referencing these and other early critical sources, the translation team sought to produce an English rendering that reflects older textual evidence rather than relying solely on later medieval copies.
The Truth Scriptures Ta'anak covers the books commonly known as the Old Testament, while the Bariyt Hadash encompasses the New Testament. Both volumes are designed for serious study, with attention to consistency in the rendering of names, places, and key terms throughout.
Promote The Truth has identified its core audience as English-speaking adults who are engaged in independent Scripture study. This includes researchers, educators, Assembly leaders, and families who seek to examine ancient textual evidence on their own terms. The project has attracted attention from readers who question inherited translation conventions and who wish to explore how earlier manuscripts may differ from later standardized editions.
Distribution is handled through the TruthScriptures.Store platform, which offers worldwide shipping. The digital outreach strategy includes educational content shared through the project's website (PromoteTheTruth.com), YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok channels under the Promote The Truth name. These channels provide supplementary material, including discussions of translation choices, manuscript comparisons, and broader explorations of ancient textual traditions.
The broader mission of the Truth Scriptures Project extends beyond the publication of printed volumes. Promote The Truth has stated that its goal is to foster a movement of independent Scriptural discovery, encouraging individuals and communities to examine the evidence preserved in ancient manuscripts and to draw their own conclusions. The project positions itself as a resource for those who wish to move beyond surface-level familiarity with Scripture and engage more deeply with the textual history behind the words on the page.
Both the Truth Scriptures Ta'anak and the Bariyt Hadash are available for immediate purchase. Readers interested in acquiring the full set may opt for the Combo Pack, which bundles both translations together.
