Courtesy of Boo Buddy LLCHANOVER, Pa. — October 29, 2026 — As Halloween arrives, Boo Buddy LLC is inviting families to start a new kind of seasonal tradition. Its centerpiece is a friendly ghost whose glowing heart celebrates a child's kindness.
The Boo Buddy Arrival Box introduces children to Boo, a glow-in-the-dark plush ghost who collects Kindness Sparks™. Kindness Sparks aren't stickers or points. They are imaginary sparks created whenever a child does something kind, like sharing a toy, helping a sibling, or including a classmate. Boo gathers them, and they make Boo's heart glow. At bedtime, families can talk about the kind moments from the day and watch Boo's heart light up in the dark.
For parents, Boo Buddy offers a gentle alternative to reward charts and behavior trackers. Kindness isn't something children earn or count. It's something they notice and celebrate. The brand's promise is "A stress-free tradition that grows hearts."
The tradition also works well for grandparents and extended family. They can join in from anywhere by asking during a phone call or video chat what the child did to help Boo's heart glow.
The Arrival Box has earned a NAPPA Award and a Mom's Choice Awards® Gold seal. It has been third-party tested by a CPSC-accepted laboratory and certified compliant with CPSIA children's product safety requirements. The First Edition is limited to 4,500 units.
Kindness is also part of how the company operates. Through its Boo Cares Initiative, Boo Buddy donates glow wristbands carrying the message "You are seen. You are loved. You make the world glow brighter." In October, the company made its first major donation: 200 glow wristbands for young patients at a central Pennsylvania hospital.
Families can find the Boo Buddy Ultimate Glow Bundle, which includes the Arrival Box, storybook, glow keychain and glow wristband, at boobuddymagic.com for $49 for a limited time.
